How desperate are we that we're making our kitchens feminine and knitting our own curtains??
Even Scarlet O'Hara would think this was retarded. Emails like this give knitters a bad name everywhere.
If you get to this point, it's time for a new hobby.
I'm not even going to mention the tea cozy also promoted in the email...

I was getting a sneaking suspicion you had fallen off the face of the earth. Now I know you had just been busy knitting curtains...this post is clearly a cover-up. Don't lie; I know you like them!
I am sort of glad when I see stuff like that that I haven't graduated from the scarf and hat knitting of a novice knitter!!!

Yes, knitted curtains are ridiculous. Knitted PANTS, however, are totally appropriate.
I was recently flipping through a knitting magazine and there was a feature on a woman who knitted her own wedding dress. Um, wow.
